Nottingham Respiratory Research Unit is committed to providing access to a range of facilities and specialist analytical techniques.
We have a dedicated Clinical Trials Unit (CTU), full floor of laboratories at our Clinical Sciences Building offices, Research Tissue Repository and easy access to Endoscopy, CT, MRI and other diagnostic facilities at Nottingham University Hospitals.

Our clinical trials unit is a dedicated facility for conducting our clinical respiratory research.
Set close to Main Outpatients at Nottingham City Hospital, our CTU is a clean and bright facility, fully equipped and where you will always receive a warm welcome.

Research Offices with Full floor of state of the art Laboratories.
The University of Nottingham Clinical Sciences Building (CSB) at Nottingham City Hospital, is the home of our offices and laboratories.
The University of Nottingham CSB has over 50 staff including, Respiratory Academic Investigators, Researchers, Nurses, Fellows, Scientists, PhD Students, Support and Administrative Staff.
Our world leading laboratory research into asthma, COPD and IPF takes place at our University of Nottingham CSB site and at the Queens Medical Centre Medical School.
We have an entire floor of state of the art laboratories at our CSB site with a very large research tissue repository contained within several HTA licensed and monitored -20°c & -80°c freezers and liquid Nitrogen dewars.
